Previously worked as a teaching assistant for Children’s Theatre of Madison in Madison Wisconsin. Responsibilities included monitoring large groups of kids (elementary to high school age), rehearsing lines and blocking, and making sure that they performed to the best of their ability on stage. I have taken several undergraduate courses in developmental psychology and learning. I have also taken several AP classes and am very familiar with the study skills needed to do well on these tests.

Hello! My name is Will Livingston and I am very excited at the opportunity to become your child’s tutor! I am driven by a deep desire to help students get on the right track and the smile that comes over their face when they finally understand something makes it all worth it. Psychology and theatre are my two biggest passions but they are far from the only interests I have. Geography, creative writing, sociology, film analysis, biology, math, ecology, and art are just a few of the academic subjects that peak my interest. I am also a rabid sports and video game fan so I am positive I will be able to relate in some way with your child. I also suffer from ADHD and know the struggles of growing up trying to manage schoolwork all too well. Whether its lack of focus, bad organizational habits or test anxiety I have dealt with it all. Through this I have managed to gain some valuable tips, tricks and skills that I take pride in passing on to younger kids. The best students are the ones that realize learning doesn’t end when school lets out. Getting children to realize this has always been a goal of mine. I hope to foster a life long love of learning in your child as well!
